ARBITRATION EXPERIENCE

I have an extensive arbitration practice and appear frequently as Counsel in domestic and International arbitrations. I have experience in respect of arbitrations conducted under the UNCITRAL, ICC, SIAC, A1AC, LCIA, F1CCl, ICSID Rules and also the Rules of International Commercial Arbitration (ICA) since the 1990s. I have sat as Chainnan, Sole-Arbitrator and CoArbitrator in international commercial arbitrations, which have been held in India, France, Taiwan, Switzerland, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Washington, Malaysia and London and have also sat as Arbitrator in domestic disputes and also acted as party counsel in domestic and international arbitrations.

I am on the Panel of Arbitrators of the Hong Kong Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), Asian International Arbitration Centre (A1AC) formerly known as the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the F1CCI Arbitration and Conciliation Tribunal (FACT) India, the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANl), the Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA), the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).

EXPERT EVIDENCE

I have given expert evidence on Malaysian law in a number of cases in foreign jurisdictions, namely the High Court in Singapore, the High Court in Hong Kong, the Supreme Court in New South Wales, the Supreme Court in New Zealand, the High Court in Durban, South Africa and also in an LCIA arbitration in London.
